  • No. RecordWatch is a Salesforce native installed package, so none of your organization’s data leaves Salesforce or is visible to Oniic.

  • RecordWatch installation and setup is straightforward. Oniic provides clear installation instructions. Depending on the complexity of your organization, and the number of users, RecordWatch can be installed and live in your org in as little as 30 minutes.

  • No, Oniic’s pricing is strictly on a by instance basis. So, your instance could have 5 users or 5,000 users and you’ll still be paying the same annual price. We do this so you can scale your organization without having to deal with license management.

  • RecordWatch can be used to track all custom and standard objects. As long as the object has a customizable Lightning Experience Page, RecordWatch can track it. For more information on tracking Objects with RecordWatch, check out this article.

  • Yes, RecordWatch supports tracking in the Salesforce Mobile App. This can be enabled during configuration.

  • Yes. RecordWatch comes with three pre-built permission sets, which can be assigned to users to grant administrative access, view-only access, or enable tracking for that users. During installation, or at a later time, you can adjust a user’s permissions and further customize to your organization’s needs.

  • No. RecordWatch does not work in Salesforce Classic. Salesforce highly encourages customers to migrate to Lightning experience, which is supported by RecordWatch.

  • Impact to storage is a valid concern for any Salesforce solution that creates records in your org. However, RecordWatch has a minimal impact on storage with each record only consuming ~2KB of storage.
